W106 Buffered Multiple
This module is a premium, buffered version of our W105 Passive Multiple, featuring four groups of buffered multiples; each group having one input and three outputs. The input of each group is normalled to the input of the one below, allowing more versatility and the ability to configure the module as a 1x12, 1x16, 2x8 and 4x4 multiple etc.
Buffered multiples are useful for multiplying pitch sensitive CV signals, such as 1V/octave CVs from a keyboard or MIDI to CV converter, although they can also be used for multiplying CV signals from other sources, such as LFOs etc.
Passive multiples are not particularly suitable for use with pitch sensitive CVs, as they often result in a loss of tuning. Buffered multiples ensure that any loss in pitch is negligible.
